With Innovation and Passion – A Story That Continues

Only 200 meters from today's stay flex Hotel, our story began in 1879. At the Hotel Restaurant Neuhaus, Andreas Meier, in the first generation of our family, opened a small tavern at Kirchweg 13. What started back then with courage and entrepreneurial spirit developed over generations into a living tradition of hospitality. Today, Ernst Andreas Meier runs the business in the 5th generation.

The idea of a new hotel on the property next to the «Neuhaus» was born in 2016 – out of vision, conviction, and the desire to combine the proven with the new. Tradition and innovation go hand in hand: A modern self-check-in hotel ensures uncomplicated processes, while a small team led by Andreas Lustenberger is dedicated to personal service with passion.

Resource Use

With our own photovoltaic system (20 kW), we cover around 60% of our electricity needs ourselves and consistently exploit the solar potential. Thanks to minimal energy consumption according to the Minergie standard and continuous energy monitoring, we ensure a positive operational balance.

Sustainable Energy

Our geothermal earth probe provides cozy warmth in winter and gentle earth cooling in summer. This allows us to forgo energy-intensive air conditioning systems and combine sustainable actions with tangible comfort.
